I always like to keep with the flow of light hearted banter on this page, but I think it is quite clear that there is no honest price for oil or gas. They cost almost nothing to produce but are taxed by dodgy Arab, Russian, yank. … producers, and our government alike, and hopefully the good effect of that tax is to restrain the orgy that would otherwise ensue.
I keep hearing of children becoming ill for lack of heating, but do animals need to burn trees to keep warm?
Of course we can’t reign in consumption to deal with the vlad problem because he who consumes most in this mad world dominates it, so it makes a right headache for the chancellor, I don’t envy him.
But he’s still a twatt and looked one in his promo pics.
