White House press secretary, Sean Spicer, last night told a press briefing that President Trump was so outraged by yesterday’s gas attack on civilians by Syrian government forces he has taken the decision to abandon his official duties for 2 weeks so that he can dedicate the time to playing golf in Mar A Lago in Palm Beach as a mark of respect for the dead.
“The President was so upset and angry when he heard the news,” Spicer said. “He told me right there and then that he’d ordered Airforce One to be fuelled and made ready for a golfing trip to Palm Beach where he told me that he intends to play for 2 weeks solid – stopping only to eat, drink and sleep – in honour of those who lost their lives. He is truly grieving right now and feels that it’s the least he can do”
In other news, vice president, Mike Pence, has told a press conference that wounded victims of the attack will be offered treatment in American hospitals, if they can afford it, or if they have United States medical insurance and can prove they’re not terrorists.

Brilliant, as always! The Syrian “slop jar” is so transparently & obviously cooked up between Putin and Trump… Trump’s fake concern for the victims is horrifying. Since Trump is having some success with this , I predict, a ramping up of these “proxy” distractions.. I am deeply ashamed of this Republican government that has no concern for human life or human dignity. I hope this global gangsterism fails quickly.

The humanitarian in me genuinely hopes that Trump’s actions were born out of a degree of sympathy for the victims of the horrific nerve gas attack. However, the hard-headed realist in me fully realises that your analysis of the situation is the more likely, Tom.
I did hear one school of thought yesterday that Ivanka may have been behind daddy’s actions. I do remember you saying that she used to be a fairly decent type back in the day. I guess we’ll never really know my friend.

Trump has already signed several executive orders that will slowly poison American children so I’m thinking Trump’s only concern in Syria is the speed at which the children died. It looks like Trump prefers the slow torturous death for children… Even that statement is giving Trump too much credit. Trump cares about Trump. Sociopaths and narcissists get away with as much as they do simply because by the time decent people realize sociopaths are monsters… it’s too late.
Before they entered politics Jared and Ivanka were considered ” big liberals.” NOT my description.) For Ivanka there has been no evidence of liberalism since she joined the fat self-centered sociopath in the White House, as a matter of fact quite the opposite has been true. when questioned about this very issue, she gets snotty and ends the interview. it’s a quaint notion to imagine that a hateful, greedy sociopath like Trump would have a sweet loving and liberal daughter… simply because she is female…ahhhh if only it were true that real life mirrored romance novels and soap operas.
Jared Kushner is a real estate agent who fancies himself as a man for all seasons! It’s clear, as he practices for this new role, he doesn’t plan on standing for anything other than Donald Trump. Trump cares about Trump and if you want to hang around?

So, you’re not buying into my Trump the humanitarian snowflake theory then? 😉

LOL! Oh, he is definitely a snowflake. if by humanitarian, you mean a coward standing behind bodyguards and throwing rocks at women and children? Then yes! Actually, I do know exactly what you mean. You Brits have a much better understanding of History and seem to have a zero tolerance for repeating it. The Supreme Court Neil Gorsuch caper is really unfortunate… kids born today will be taking it on the chin from that bum for the next 40 years.

I like George. He’s a caring man with a keen sense of social injustice. Could do with losing a few pounds mind. The greedy fuck!
